The Hydrosense ONE Multi Legionella Industrial Kit is the multi-test solution for facilities conducting scheduled repeat monitoring at fixed water outlets where action levels are set at 1,000 CFU/L. It provides five complete tests detecting Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1 using the same proprietary Hydrosense filter technology and plumbing connection system as the Ultra Industrial Kit — but calibrated for the 1,000 CFU/L threshold with Hazard Index indication at 10,000 CFU/L.

Operational Design

The permanent pipework adaptor — compatible with US ½ inch NPT, ¾ inch BPT fittings, and standard shower hoses — is attached to the water outlet and remains in place between testing cycles. Water flows through the adaptor and filter directly from the outlet, concentrating bacteria for detection without manual sample collection. This eliminates collection variables and maintains test consistency across repeated monitoring cycles.

The Hazard Index Scorecard

Included in each kit, the Hazard Index scorecard provides a semi-quantified risk indicator beyond positive or negative. At 1,000 CFU/L a positive result is generated. At 10,000 CFU/L the Hazard Index level is confirmed — indicating a significantly elevated contamination level that requires more urgent remediation. This risk stratification is operationally valuable for facilities managing multiple water outlets simultaneously.
