Gibco™ Amphotericin B (Fungizone™) is a broad-spectrum antifungal agent produced by Streptomyces nodosus. It prevents fungal contamination in cell culture by binding to sterols in fungal membranes, increasing permeability, and forming pores.

Each mL contains 250 μg amphotericin B and 205 μg sodium deoxycholate, supplied as a sterile-filtered liquid. The recommended working range is 0.25–2.5 μg/mL.
