The SurfACE™ Sponge in Vial is a convenient, sterile solution for environmental sampling in food production facilities. Each unit contains a 3” x 1.5” biocide-free cellulose sponge, available dry or pre-moistened with 10 ml buffer, packaged in a 120 ml plastic screw-cap vial for secure handling and transport.

Pre-moistened buffer options include Neutralizing Buffer, Buffered Peptone Water, Letheen Broth, and other solutions on request, supporting a wide range of food microbiology applications. The vial includes a sample label for clear identification and offers a 12-month shelf life from production.

The SurfACE™ Sponge in Vial is designed in line with ISO 18593:2018 and ISO 17604:2015, making it ideal for monitoring pathogenic bacteria, spoilage organisms, and indicator microbes in compliance-driven food safety programs.
